All American Bicycle Rally Registration
The All American Bicycle Rally June 12, 2010, went very well. We had several riders. Some really nice people came out to the rally and one rider came from Corpus Christi.
We appreciated the feedback from some of our riders. Here is a sample from George Abele:
"First off…KUDOS on a job well done. Here the things that stuck out most in my mind…well organized, thoughtful enthusiastic, and courteous volunteers to greet/help at ride check-in, good instructions, well thought out ride (lots of hills to introduce some physical demand, pretty countryside, good road surfaces), good ‘workaround’ on the chip seal caused alternate root, good rest stops (appropriate intervals, very nice people!, all the ‘things’ bikers should really require (water, gator aid, ice, fruit), terrific level of police support at intersections and throughout the course, small town warmth and pride (this one makes me smile!). These comments are offered without consideration of whether the ride was an inaugural or time tested ride. As this was your inaugural effort, I think you did an especially great job…well done folks…well done! Frankly, I don’t have a lot of thoughts on potential areas for improvement…I liked the ride ‘as-is’ and will plan to ride again next year."
The town of Springtown was a great host…keep the ride simple and full of what makes your town something special (warm and proud people living in a beautiful locale). Thanks so much for an enjoyable ride."
