Welcome!
Welcome to the Springtown Chamber of Commerce Website.
We have information available to you as a member and you as a visitor. Please don't forget to browse our Business Directory if you are looking for a product or service! If you do not have the latest copy (2010) of the Directory, please stop by the Chamber office and pick up your copy.
Our Calendar has up to date information about all the happenings in Springtown!
The Wild West Festival is in planning stages and will be held September 18, 2010. Cowboys and Indians will be with us this year. The Legends of Texas will entertain us with gunfights and tales around the chuck wagon about the trails in and around Springtown in the "olden" days. Chief Standing Bear will be with us with his Intertribal Native Americans. Chief is a full-blood Apache Native American. He plans to present us with a real Indian Wedding. Children are invited to dress up as Native Americans and participate in the ceremony. There will be face painting and conversations to educate on the cultures of the Native Americans.
Now is the time to let the Chamber know if you want to help sponsor this event. Several of our members have already responded but we still have room for more.
Our Wild West Committee is interested in signing up volunteer groups from business organizations. If you have a group of 4-6 people you would like to sign up for a specific volunteer area, please let us know. We have some businesses who have signed up for a full day of manning the drink stations, shuttle drivers, etc. Just call and we will tell you where we have openings! We are looking for church groups to get involved in the vendor set up and tear down. This was a great success last year.
